Splenda Adds Fiber
I don’t know about you but I love Splenda. I use it in my coffee, on my cereal, in my family’s lemonade. I even use a couple of packets as a secret ingredient in my pasta sauce—a sweet kiss for my tomatoes. And now the folks at Splenda have added 1 gram of fiber to every packet! It seems that fiber is getting loads of attention. And as far as this new Splenda goes, it’s definitely in my shopping cart and on my pantry shelf. How about you? Buy it. Try it. Here are a few more ways to use Splenda and get a little extra fiber:
- Mix up a packet of Splenda with a dash of cinnamon and sprinkle it on a sliced apple, pear or on the top of a quick microwaved sweet potato
- Switch out your baking sugar for Splenda—either all or part—and reduce the calories while adding fiber to your favorite recipes
- Keep a tray of ice cubes made with water and Splenda to add to your favorite drinks or iced tea
