Jessica Alstrom has been in the Fitness and wellness industry for over 15 years and has owned and operated organic smoothie franchises in Kansas City. She is trained in holistic food science and is a certified wellness coach.

Koko–Chief Cheerleader
Koko is the original Grocery Store Gal and founder–a total foodie, experienced dieter, singular supermarket shopper, and our biggest motivator. When she’s not pushing a grocery cart, or recruiting new grocery store gals, you’ll find her in the kitchen tossing together her signature 60-second snacks or at her computer busy reviewing products, sharing tips, and inspiring dieters everywhere! BTW ‘Koko’ she tells us stands for ‘keep on keeping on’ a nickname she chose to keep her going through all the times and pounds of her life–the good and the not so good.
Renee–Contributing Editor
Renee is the author of several cookbooks, a health educator, wellness coach, nutrition consultant and the owner of Wine Barrel Gourmet, a foods company specializing in convenient, heart-healthy mixes. She was a regular contributor to Pillsbury Fast and Healthy Magazine. She holds degrees in both Medical Laboratory Science and Home Economics/Business.

Sandy–Editorial Director
Sandy is a Registered Dietitian who holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and has taught college courses in Nutrition, Food Safety, and Culinary Arts. In addition, she has planned special menus for both non-profit and government-run food delivery agencies.
